Smallfry is the Barossa Valley project of Suzi Hilder and Wayne Ahrens, longtime organic growers in Vine Vale. Their approach is hands-on and thoughtful, farming their own vineyards and making wines with minimal intervention to reflect site and season. Schliebs Garden honours vineyard custodian Ken Schliebs and draws on mature Barossa fruit in a Rhône-inspired blend.

Dark plum and red berry fruit weave through savoury spice and dried herbs. Silky yet structured, with fine tannins and a long, gently earthy finish.

Beautiful with roast lamb, slow braises or generous shared feasts.
