Sigurd Syrah 2023

Blackberry. Olive. Violet. Spice.

Sigurd is Daniel Graham’s small Barossa label, built around organically run vineyards and a minimal-intervention philosophy. This Syrah comes from Williamstown and Ebenezer sites he manages organically, fermented with around 30% whole bunch and a small co-ferment of Viognier, then aged 14 months in mostly seasoned French oak.

Dark berry fruit and black olive meet floral lift and gentle spice. Medium-bodied with supple tannins, brightness and savoury length.

Great with grilled lamb, smoky eggplant or slow-cooked dishes.
