Sigurd Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Sigurd is the Barossa project of Daniel Graham, named after his Norwegian great-grandfather. Since 2012 Dan has focused on organically grown fruit and hands-off winemaking, using indigenous ferments and minimal sulphur to preserve purity and place. This Cabernet is led by old Vine Vale vines, aged 15 months in French oak with only light toast to protect fruit character.

Cassis and fresh tobacco leaf meet subtle herbs and cedar. Medium-bodied and poised, with fine tannins and lifted acidity.

Perfect with lamb, roast beef or anchovy butter pasta.
