Proud Up The Mountain Pinot Noir 2024

Strawberry, Not Bonbon. Chalky.

Up the Mountain is part of Stuart Proud’s Proud Primary Produce project in the Yarra Valley. A viticulturist first, Proud puts farming, soil and plant health at the centre of his work. This Pinot Noir comes from Gruyere, including an east-facing vineyard with mature vines rooted in duplex clay loam.

Strawberry, but not bonbon: pretty fruit with real savoury structure. A chalky finish and gently bitter core keep the Pinot taut rather than sweet. Delish!

Perfect with duck breast, mushroom pasta, roast chicken and salmon.
