AOC Saumur Champigny Cabernet Franc 2023

Les Athlètes du Vin is a collaborative project in Saumur Champigny that brings together like-minded growers who share fruit and philosophy rather than operate a singular domaine. The aim is to celebrate terroir, vibrancy and drinkability, with grapes picked at ideal ripeness, wild fermentations and a light-touch cellar approach that lets the variety and limestone-rich soils speak.

Lifted red cherry and raspberry show alongside subtle herbaceous notes and a layer of slatey mineral drive. The palate is juicy and energetic with fine tannins and fresh acidity.

Fantastic with charcuterie, goat’s cheese, tomato-based dishes or al fresco picnics by the river.
