Heartwines ‘Danger’ Shiraz 2020

Black cherry. Liquorice. Spice. Silky.

Heartwines is a collaborative project bringing together minimal-intervention winemakers working with carefully sourced fruit. The ‘Danger’ Shiraz is made by Yangarra winemaker Peter Fraser from organically grown vines in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, with whole bunch fermentation and ageing in older barrels to keep the wine vibrant and expressive.

Ripe black cherry and dark berry fruit lead with hints of liquorice, balsamic spice and gentle amaro notes. The palate is rich yet poised, with silky tannins and a lifted, savoury finish.

Great with grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef or smoky barbecue. Also perfect for relaxed dinners or fireside evenings.
