Candice Helbig and Frewin Ries founded CRFT in 2012, making small-batch, single-vineyard wines across the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. They bought Arranmore Vineyard at Carey Gully in 2016, converted it to organic farming and achieved NASAA certification in 2019. Their estate-grown Arranmore range includes Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Expressive on the nose, with skins, texture and a saline edge, finishing with white pepper character. Lean and crisp, quite rocky and peppery rather than fruity. This is racy with mouthwatering acidity.

Perfect with fresh herb salads, asparagus, vegetable dumplings and Asian greens.
