Cosse Maisonneuve Solis 2023

Domaine Cosse Maisonneuve was founded in Cahors in 1999 by Matthieu Cosse and Catherine Maisonneuve. The estate farms organically and works with indigenous yeasts and restrained extraction in the cellar. Solis is their more immediately approachable Cahors, led by Malbec with Merlot in the blend for a supple, fresh expression of the region.

Blackberry and plum with violet, liquorice and dried herbs. Medium-bodied and supple, with juicy dark fruit, fresh acidity and fine, earthy tannins giving the wine an easy, savoury finish.

Perfect with duck confit, cassoulet, lamb and mature cheeses.
