BK Wines is Brendon and Kirsty Keys’ Adelaide Hills project, based in Basket Range and built around small-batch, site-driven wines with a strong streak of experimentation. Their Saignée takes Pinot Noir in a lighter, savourier direction, with the variety’s red-fruited character carried by freshness and fine structure.

Green strawberries, cranberries and red grapefruit, with mouthwatering acidity. Savoury and citrusy. A little Campari in the finish. A stunner!

Perfect with ceviche, tuna tartare, grilled prawns and light salads.
