Certified Sustainable

Blackberry. Cracked pepper. Dried rosemary. Earth.

Balnaves is a family estate established in 1975 by Doug and Annette Balnaves, with family roots in Coonawarra dating back to 1855. Today Doug, Pete and Kirsty Balnaves work alongside winemaker Maddie LeMire, farming vineyards on the region’s famed terra rossa soils to craft wines of balance and place.

Rich black and blue fruits, cracked pepper and savoury herb notes unfold with plush texture and fine tannins. Medium-full bodied and structured, with a long, integrated finish.

Perfect with grilled lamb, pepper steak or aged cheddar.
