Balnaves is a family estate established in 1975 by Doug and Annette Balnaves, with the family’s roots in Coonawarra dating back to 1855. Today Doug, Pete and Kirsty Balnaves work alongside winemaker Maddie LeMire, farming vineyards on the region’s famed terra rossa soils with a focus on balance and site expression.

Blackcurrant, plum and cedar lead into subtle dried herbs and fine spice. Medium-full bodied with polished tannins and vibrant length.

Perfect with grilled beef or slow-braised lamb.
