Good questions

Why do I need an account?

Your referral link is unique to you, and your account is how we know who to thank.

I've already ordered. Can I still refer friends?

Yes, that's exactly who this is for. Any Vino Better Organic customer can refer a friend. It's your friend who needs to be new to us.

Who counts as a new customer?

Someone who has never placed an order with us and doesn't already have a Vino Better Organic account.

How does my friend use their $20?

They open your link, pop in their email to claim their $20 and get a one-time code. They use it at checkout on an order of $180 or more (before shipping). Tip: ask them to open your link on the device they'll shop on.

When do I get my $20?

As soon as your friend places their first qualifying order, we'll email you a code for $20 off your next order of $180 or more. You'll also find it in your Rewards panel (the Rewards button at the bottom of the screen).

Can I refer more than one friend?

Yes. Every friend who places a first qualifying order through your link earns you a separate $20 reward.

Can I use it with other discounts?

Referral codes can't be combined with other discount codes or offers. Each code is single use and valid for 30 days.

Where do I find my link later?

Sign in and tap the Rewards button at the bottom of any page, or come back to this page and tap "Show my referral link".

The offer

  1. The Vino Better Organic ("VBO", "we", "us") referral program lets an existing VBO customer with a registered account (the "Referrer") share a personal referral link with a friend (the "Friend").
  2. The Friend receives a single-use discount code for $20 off their first order with a minimum spend of $180 (the "Friend Reward").
  3. When the Friend places a qualifying first order using the Friend Reward, the Referrer receives a single-use discount code for $20 off their next order with a minimum spend of $180 (the "Referrer Reward").
  4. The minimum spend applies to the value of products in the cart and excludes shipping. All amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Eligibility

  1. Referrers and Friends must be 18 years or older and live in Australia. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. We may ask for proof of age and will not deliver to anyone under 18.
  2. The Friend must be a new customer: they must not have placed an order with VBO before and must not already have a VBO customer account.
  3. Referrers can't refer themselves, including by using another email address, account, payment method or delivery address belonging to them or their household.
  4. Referral links are for sharing with friends, family and people you know. Posting referral links on coupon, deal or voucher-sharing websites, or in paid advertising, is not permitted.

Using rewards

  1. Each Friend Reward and Referrer Reward is single use and expires 30 days after it is issued. Expired codes will not be reissued.
  2. Rewards can't be combined with any other discount code, promotion or offer, can't be used to buy gift cards, and have no cash value. They can't be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash or credit.
  3. A Referrer earns one Referrer Reward for each Friend who places a qualifying first order. There's no limit on the number of Friends a Referrer can refer, but we may cap or review rewards where we see unusual activity.
  4. If a Friend's order is cancelled, refunded or returned, we may cancel the related Referrer Reward, or reverse its value if it has already been used.

General

  1. We may refuse, cancel or withhold any reward, or close a referral account, where we reasonably believe the program has been misused, including through fraud, self-referral, fake accounts or breach of these terms.
  2. We may change, suspend or end the referral program at any time. Rewards already issued will be honoured until they expire unless they were obtained in breach of these terms.
  3. The referral program is powered by Smile.io. Your use of it is also subject to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  4. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
